Mike Puzey. Still Forming a passion!

There was a considerable amount of work done on the little fibre-glass race cars to get more out of them. Even at such a young age, Mike was handy with the spanners and screw drivers. The fun of cars was for school holidays as he went to boarding school when he was about 7.

The fact that he had to spend months at a time in a school environment did not limit his enthusiasm for machines. I was at the same school as him and I still remember this dude spending hours and hours, all on his own, in the middle of these huge school playing fields working on his model aircraft. In fact, the first radio controlled device I ever saw was one of Mike's. He made all sorts of weird and wonderful flying machines. This really got the building and design work going and it also was the beginning of the serious 'motorhead' ability.
