Evopowerboards are slowly developing as a niche product in the large American market. We are getting more and more customers who have been searching for a quality scooter and have settled on an Evo. This is great news for us as we have really tried hard to market the best damn scooter out there.

It is probably even better news for our customers, the folks who love their Evo's, as they are the ones who ultimately control the brand. They directly lift it through the passion and enthusiasm that one of these magnificent machines unlocks for them. We have been trying to do this for a while and it has certainly become a clearer goal after having read gapingvoid on a regular basis and the Clue Train manifesto in particular

The real game now is to find new areas to push our product. We have just got our DOT approved machine out (pictured above left). This particular bike has its California tag and we are trying to excite owners of yachts, light planes and motor-homes about the usability of this portable moped. I am going to expand on this post in the coming weeks as there are lots of exciting angles to exploit. One of them is the understanding that we have around sustainable energy use, particularly in fossil fuels. This is how we see it:
Most folks would love to be more environmentally sound in the way they go about their daily lives. However, for as much as they know of the need to change their current habits, they show no signs of changing. WHY? There are no suitable alternatives to the products they currently use. Or, there are few products that are economically viable for First World consumers and bar the trusty bicycle, zero for the Third World.

For example, there are many prototype vehicles in planning stages but in reality there are very few in actual commercial hubs. Gizmag is a great publication with some wonderful products but how many of the transport machines are available to consumers right now?

This riddle is one of the issues that I want to explore in this blog. I do think that the L2X pictured above is a product that can answer many of the needs of urban commuters.
